During the winter, Trnava became an inspiration for several cities. It prepared a pre-Christmas gift for all visitors and launched a game in which it was necessary to find the elf’s home. The game was prepared by the city in a record short time, so that the people of Trnava can play it already during the Advent period. The creators promised the most beautiful experience after dark, so our role in this beautiful project was clear. Complete the fairytale atmosphere of the eight windows of the magical elf worlds with the help of light. The winter game in Trnava could thus take on a new dimension.

Because of a short period of time, we could only use the goods that were in stock, so at times our work resembled magic. Several installations were interactive and responsive to a mobile phone. In some, children could turn on the light, spin the clock, or secretly decipher the butter biscuit recipe, so improvisation was often in order.

Mainly LED strips and LED modules were used for local backlighting. We have modified special LED spotlights to dramatically – accentuate the lighting of the individual characters, which has highlighted their beautiful contours and created a fairy – tale mystery.

Elf’s Magic is not just an ordinary game for children, but also for many adults a journey into childhood, after which it helps to believe that even everyday life can turn into a fairy tale. We are very pleased to have been part of this great project and we believe that there will be even more in the future. After all, each of us sometimes needs to change like in a fairy tale, and that is what the winter game in Trnava provides us with.
